For skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, there are more than 35 ski resorts in Innlandet (ex-Oppland and ex-Hedmark counties), which are located throughout the county. It is also one of the main areas for skiing in the Norwegian Scandinavian Mountains.
The largest ski resort in Innlandet is Trysil with more than 70 km (43 mi) of slopes and more than 30 ski lifts. It is also the largest ski resort in Norway.

The main ski resort near Hamar, the largest city in Innlandet, is Sjusjøen with more than 5 km (3 mi) of slopes and more than 3 ski lifts. However, Trysil is located not far away to the east.
