SkiStar Trysil is one of more than 170 ski resorts in Norway. It is located in the Innlandet region in the southeast of the country on the border with Sweden in the Scandinavian Mountains at an altitude between 415 and 1,100 m with a difference of 685 m. It is the nearest ski resort to the town of Nybergsund. The main feature of SkiStar Trysil ski resort is that it is the biggest ski area in Norway with more than 70 km of slopes and more than 30 ski lifts in total. The resort is best suitable for intermediate skiers — most of its slopes are red. However, for easy and advanced skiing, it has more than 20 km of blue and black slopes each. The most common type of ski lift is a chairlift. The SkiStar Trysil season is from early December to late April in general.
