At an elevation of 1,875 m (6,152 ft.), and with a prominence of 706 m (2,316 ft.), Resegone di Lecco is a peak situated in the Bergamasque Alps and Prealps, in the Lombardy region, Italy.
In the novel, The Betrothed, Alessandro Manzoni used Resegone di Lecco, also known as Monte Resegone, as the setting to several of his passages. (But he called the mountain Monte Serrada in the novel). Resegone di Lecco resembles a saw, which is significant as ‘resegà’ means, ‘to saw.’
There's a hiking trail (T2) leading to the summit.
The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Luigi Azzoni located 44m/146ft ESE of the summit.
