At an elevation of 4,420 m (14,501 ft.), and with a prominence of 579 m (1,889 ft.), located in the Saint Elias Mountains is Mount Alverstone found on the border of Yukon and Alaska; also known as Boundary Peak 180. It marks the border between Alaska and Canada.
Mount Alverstone received its name to honor Lord Richard Everard Webster Alverstone, who was the Lord Chief Justice of England, in 1908.
