At an elevation of 6,250 m (20,510 ft.), and with a prominence of 2,571 m (8,435 ft.), Ultra mountain, Mount Siguniang, is regarded as ‘The Oriental Alps’ due to its magnificent beauty. It is located in Sichuan Province, China.
In 2006, Mount Siguniang Park was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. One of the contributing factors for this was the fact that the mountain and park form part of the Siguniang Giant Panda Sanctuary.
