At an elevation of 1,227 m (4,026 ft.), and with a prominence of 887 m (2,910 ft.), Punta di Mezzo is a mountain located in the Varese region of Lombardy, Italy. It is the highest point of Campo dei Fiori regional park and is great for refreshment and a bit of relaxation. It is a popular weekend getaway for locals as well as international tourists.
Marelli Grotto is situated opposite the Campo dei Fiori Grand Hotel Complex and is a karstic (limestone) cave also worth visiting. The adventurous at heart can try their hand at scaling the limestone rock faces of the practice wall, which is fifteen minutes' walk from the hotel.
There's a hiking trail (T2) leading to the summit. Punta di Mezzo is one of the 2 peaks along the Via Verde Varesina Tappa 3.
