At an elevation of 3,269 m (10,725 ft.), and with a prominence of 334 m (1,096 ft.), Mogollon Baldy Peak is one of the highest peaks in the Mogollon Mountain Range, situated in the Gila National Forest in New Mexico, within the United States.
In 2012, part of the reserve, which includes the Wilderness Ranger and Glenwood Ranger districts, was ravaged by the biggest wildfire in New Mexico’s history.
There's a trail called Crest Trail #182 leading to the summit. Mogollon Baldy Peak is one of the 8 peaks along the multi-day Gila Wilderness Trails.
