At an elevation of 3,025 m (9,925 ft.), and with a prominence of 321 m (1,053 ft.), Furchetta forms part of the Dolomites. It is situated in South Tyrol, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy.
Furchetta is in the Geisler group and gets its name from the large crevice that divides it into twin peaks. There are many routes up this mountain, most starting at the Refuge Florence, about 20 minutes from the Santa Cristina Col Raiser gondola station.
