At an elevation of 745 m (2,444 ft.), and with a prominence of 110 m (361 ft.), Monte Verrugoli is well-known for its breathtaking view of the Adriatic Sea from its summit. It is located at Liguria in the province of La Spezia.
An anti-aircraft battery is installed in the area, which was built in the 1920s and was used in World War II to ward off Anglo-American bombers.
The entire area is forest, and it makes for good hiking as the elevations are not too hazardous.
There's a trail leading to the summit.
