At an elevation of 6,888 m (22,598 ft.), and with a prominence of 1,488 m (4,881 ft.), Siniolchu is regarded as one of the most beautiful snow mountains in the world. It is located in the city of Gangtok, Sikkim State, India.
Siniolchu was first scaled by Karl Wein and Adi Gottner in 1936. Douglas Fisherman famously described this peak as the ‘most superb triumph of mountain architecture.”
