Try this first — it is often faster

Many questions already have an answer written down:

• FAQ & Troubleshooting — peak identification, imports, offline maps, Garmin and Suunto, recovering a recorded track.
• Tutorial — a walkthrough of the app, screen by screen.

Subscriptions and earlier purchases

If you bought PeakVisor before the subscription model was introduced, write to team@peakvisor.com and we will help you restore full access.

Billing itself is handled by the store you installed from, so cancellations and refunds go through it:

• iPhone / iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.

We cannot cancel or refund a store subscription on your behalf, but if something went wrong with a purchase, tell us and we will sort out access from our side.

Maps and offline use

PeakVisor works without a signal, but the area has to be downloaded before you go: open Menu → Map Coverage while you still have internet and download the region you are heading to. Peak identification also needs that data on the device, so downloading in advance is worth doing at home rather than at the trailhead.

Reporting a problem

To save a round trip, please include:

• your device and OS version (for example iPhone 15, iOS 18.4);
• the PeakVisor version (in the app: Settings → About);
• what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead;
• a screenshot or screen recording if the problem is visual;
• roughly where and when it happened, if it is about a specific mountain, trail or hut.

You can request deletion of your account and data — see account removal.
