Falesia indicata per le mezze stagioni, ma anche nelle mattine estive, poco adatta all'inverno. Forse arrampicabile anche con la pioggia visto che in calata non si tocca la roccia però chi assicura non è riparato. Torrione intitolato all’alpinista Carlo Virando, originario della frazione Balma, solo quattro vie più una variante ma la zona circostante è ricca di altri torrioni.
Approach
Si supera l'abitato di Viù tralasciando il bivio per i Tornetti e si prosegue verso Lemie fino ad un bivio a destra poco prima di un ponte con indicazione per Balma, frazione che si raggiunge dopo alcuni chilometri al fondo della stradina asfaltata dove si parcheggia prima delle case. Si entra nella frazione e si seguono le indicazioni per Pessinea, circa dieci minuti di sentiero pianeggiante e si arriva ad un colletto che si supera e scendendo leggermente si trova la parete a sinistra.
