Pennes le Sec e' un insieme di guglie verticali che emergono slanciate dal bosco poco sotto (sud) il Col de Penne. La placca de l' Initiation e' l' unico settore facile di un sito di scalata duro e rinomato del Diois! La si incontra a sinistra del sentiero che sale ripido dallla strada. Pero' se si prosegue oltre il primo o secondo tiro per uscire in vetta si incontrano difficolta' minime di 6b!

Da sinistra a destra (la difficolta’ indicate ai piedi delle vie, riguarda il primo tiro soltanto): 1 – 4b 2 – 3c 3 – 4c un pas bloc au départ 4 – 5a seul le départ est un peu plus dur 5 – 5c puis 4b pour la 2e longueur 6 – 5c puis 4c pour la 2e longueur 7 – 4b puis 4b pour la 2e longueur
Diverse proseguono sul muro verticalissimo (6b à 6c ?).
