At an elevation of 1,544 m (5,066 ft.), and with a prominence of 1,523 m (4,997 ft.), Mount Labo is watched as a possibly live stratovolcano in the Camarines Norte, situated on Luzon Island, Philippines. (Due to it’s prominence above 1,500 m, Mount Labo is regarded as an Ultra mountain.)
Labo is an andesitic stratovolcano, made up of layers of toughened magma, volcanic ash and other volcanic residue. It has been the site of extensive geothermal exploration and has warm and hot springs.
