Piz Boè is the highest mountain of the Sella Group, a mountain-range in the Dolomites, Italy. It has an elevation of 3,152 metres (10,341 ft) and is located in the heart of the Dolomites.
The mountain has a beautiful pyramid summit and is considered as one of the easiest summits to hike to that is over 3,000 meters. From the top of Piz Boè, you have 360° views of the Dolomites.
There are several routes to hike Piz Boè. One of the most popular routes starts at Sass Pordoi and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. The route is considered moderate in difficulty and has a total ascent of 430 meters (1,410 feet). The path is partly equipped with ropes in some difficult sections.
There's a hiking trail (T2) called 638 leading to the summit.
The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Capanna Fassa located 15m/49ft WSW of the summit.
