Secёda is a mountain in South Tyrol, Italy, part of the Dolomites mountain range. It has an elevation of 2519 meters and is located in the Odle Group. The wide Secëda Meadows with beautiful mountain huts are located beneath the mountain. The meadows of the Seceda border the Rasciesa High Alp and the Mastlè Alpine Pasture and form together a beautiful hiking area.
The Seceda Dolomites hike is a popular hike that takes you to climb Mount Seceda. The hike has a length of approximately 11 km (there & back) and an altitude difference of 480 m. The duration of the hike is approximately 3.5 hours (there and back) and it’s considered to have a medium level of difficulty.
Mount Seceda is situated within the Puez-Odle Nature Park in South Tyrol, Italy. The summit of Seceda (2518 meters) is a dearly loved destination in the Dolomites because of its unbeatable view of the Odle/Geisler Peaks. The Puez-Odle Nature Park measures 10,000+ hectares and is home to many iconic peaks of Italy.
The Seceda cable car is a popular way to reach the top of Mount Seceda. The cable car runs from late May through early November. During this time, the cable car runs from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm. The length of the cable car Furnes-Sceda is 2050m and has a vertical drop of 700m. The chair lift Fermeda has a length of 1900m and a vertical drop of 450m.
