At an elevation of 2,427 m (7,963 ft.), and with a prominence of 79 m (259 ft.), Monte Zeledria forms part of the Southern Rhaetian Alps. It is situated in the province of South Tyrol, Italy.
Monte Zeledria is relatively easy to climb, but climbers will still need to carry some essential mountaineering equipment. One can drive through the Campo Carlo Magno pass and up to Cascina Zeledria at 1,767 m, from where one starts walking through the forest.
The route crosses the junctions with paths 264 and 267. In the steeper areas, ladders have been thoughtfully provided. Hikers should respect the various warning signs along the route featuring ropes and carabineers. Visitors are advised to be aware of where they step, and not to rush.
Towards the end of the trek, a short length of rope with stirrups takes hikers from the final ridge to the top. From the summit, visitors are able to see the slopes of Pradalago and the Brenta Dolomites in the background.
Overall, Monte Zeledria is not a difficult mountain to climb, but basic experience in mountaineering is advised.
There's a demading hiking trail (T3) leading to the summit. Monte Zeledria is one of the 1 peaks along the Via ferrata "Umberto Bozzetto".
The nearest mountain hut is Rifugio Viviani located 927m/3 041ft E of the summit.
