With an elevation of 29 m (95,14 ft.) and prominence of 6 m (19,38 ft.), Carrington Moss is a vast peat bog (a wetland that accumulates peat), which is situated near Carrington, in Greater Manchester, England.
Carrington Moss had a variety of purposes over the years, everything from agricultural activities, waste disposal and sporting activities. A few nature reserves are located in the area.
There's a trail called Brookhays Road leading to the summit.
