Peaks & Trails of Sai Kung West Country Park (Wan Tsai Extension)

When she was a teenager, Joyce loved wandering Hong Kong’s countryside not just for hiking but also for doing homework. She spent one of her university years in New Zealand and had a blast in the mountains. A life-changing experience came to her when she took a half-year trip to South America, where she felt a profound connection with the snow-capped peaks and pristine glaciers. The Andes inspired her to become an environmental educator and over the years she has worked as a manager at NGOs such as the Jane Goodall Institute and as a ranger at Grand Canyon National Park.
