Masada National Park is the main of Israel's 81 national parks in the Middle East of West Asia. The main feature of the park in its name is its most prominent mountain Massda (63 m / 207 ft) with an ancient fortification on its flat top, which is a small plateau in the Judaean Desert. The mountain is also one of the most popular attractions in the whole country. In total there are 3 named mountains in Masada National Park. Ma'alé Ben Ya'ir (238 m / 781 ft) is the highest point.
