At an elevation of 1,288 m (4,226 ft.), and with a prominence of 88 m (289 ft.), Monte Dei Pizzoni is a series of minor elevations tops that can be found in Lombardy, Como, Italy.
Monte dei Pizzoni is part of the Lugano Prealps - Comasche subgroup. This subgroup surrounds the southern side of the commune of Valsolda with is 1,500 inhabitants, as well as on the northern tip of the coast of the Lugano Lake.
Monte dei Pizzoni got its name due to this series of small elevations that is made up of mostly white limestone rocks that form the towers and pinnacles.
There's an alpine trail (T4) called Monte dei Pizzoni Cresta SW leading to the summit.
The nearest mountain hut is Bivacco Alpe Vecchio located 798m/2 617ft ENE of the summit.
